Vantage League
A regional esports league running on spreadsheets and Discord pings got a live home — brackets, standings, and stream in one place fans could actually follow.

THE PROBLEM
Match schedules lived in a pinned Discord message, standings in a Google Sheet, and the stream link somewhere in chat. On finals night thousands of fans arrived at once and couldn’t find where to look — the league was growing faster than the duct tape holding it together.
Sponsors kept asking for numbers the league couldn’t produce, because nothing that mattered was being measured.
THE APPROACH
I built the site around a single match-day view: the live bracket, the current standings, and the stream, stacked so a fan lands and instantly knows what’s on and who’s up. Everything else is one tap away, not in the way.
Under the hood, results flow in from the league’s existing admin sheet — no new tool to learn — and fan out to the bracket, standings, and team pages the moment a score is entered.
THE OUTCOME
The first season on the new site tripled match-day traffic, and for the first time the league could hand sponsors a real audience number instead of a shrug.
“Finals night used to be me copy-pasting links into chat for three hours. This year I actually watched the games.”
